Where is Central and South America?

Many, but not all, of the major Central and South American cities were founded during the era of European colonization. They are infused with a unique energy, particularly when salsa or samba music is involved. Other cities are bastions of Latin American finance and banking, where glass and steel towers stand side by side with the remains of a more distant historical past.
